What a lovely card you have given us! - I see the water dragons there, how were they received? I don't think you told us about that. Happy New Year to you too,and on to new challenges in 2011! I'm just off to bed here in Brisbane - as it's already 15 minutes into 2011 in the Southern States, I decided that would do me too! We've had our mince pies and toasted the New Year, and I am tired!
Love your New Years card! Wow, look at all the wonderful things you've shared with us this year! I know you did more - you post frequently with such wonderful things!
May your New Year be happy and full of lovely threads and amazing new projects to do!
Well, it is New Year’s Eve day here. We have an unusual amount of snow that came quite quickly. There is ice on the road under the snow up Grandview; and, none of us have a 4-wheel drive. So both cars are now at the bottom of the ridge, parked at an obliging neighbor’s. He gave Loyal a ride up the mountain in his 4-wheel drive with his parcels. Very nice of him, I’m working on a motif called, “last of the summer sun” in Ladyshuttlmkaer’s “chalk”. The town is mostly shut down and people panicked; not safe to be on any street really but Loyal had to go to the pharmacy. Thanks for the photo of you...wondered what you might look like. LOL love, Bev
Wonderful to see you :) Thanks for all of your fabulous inspiration - it's always a pleasure to see what you've tatted. Best Wishes for a wonderful 2011!
What a show of BEAUTIFUL tatting and a smile to match! It's good to put a face to the name - you are as I have always featured you, EXCEPT I thought you had longer hair because of a picture you posted after you bought some earrings from Jeff.
I hope 2011 is filled with lots of happy times and tons of tatting!
WOW! Great collage - although as many have stated, you have tatted so many more items. You also (along with Gina) might hold a record on numbers of blog posts per year, in addition to items and techniques of tatting.
And your attractive photo definitely mirrors your personality - happy and energetic!!
I always enjoy seeing the multiple hearts 'tile' you use as your identification. I remember cheering you on as you 'struggled' to tat it - in only a few days - back in July. Then you nailed it perfectly.
I must ask what software you used to create the collage! I have so many gaps in my computer and photo knowledge it's embarrassing. I possibly have some of these capabilities (writing on photos, multiple photos) but don't know how to find or use them.
Hi, Kathy, I had to go back and see what you were talking about:

Well obviously I HAD to respond to THIS post!!! I've been cheering you on, and by golly - as they say in My Fair Lady: "You Did It !!!" And you're far too critical! Your tatting looks great, and in Marilee's thread it's oustanding. I LOVE it!"
I thank you for those words and for re-iterating them today! You have provided me with much marvellous supportive words. I appreciate every one of them.
Now, as for the computer - I use only Picasa as I do not like to monkey around too much with my photos. My dad was a bit of a purist and I am afraid I am truly imprinted by his attitudes about "the original" shot...
It is a pretty good programme and has a lot of simple, intuitive techniques. Shoot me an email, if you do not understand something. Glad to help! Fox : )
Wow, you have tatted a lot this year! Also, you look nothing like I had pictured you. LOL!

I really like the new thread color you got (that Diane sent you!)
I also wanted to ask... (I know I'm a bit ignorant) what is the traveling book about? *blush*
Lily, The "Angeline's Travelling Book Adventure" banner at the side of the blog is now updated and should get you all the info you need!
ReplyDeleteFox : )
Lovely collage there with YOU in it! That's only a fraction of what you've tatted though. Happy New Year!!
