Isn't this smashing?
Anon,Lucky me! I was fortunate enough to get a sample of this. I had tucked this pattern away, thinking about the perfect thread to use to try the technique. This was it! I love it - the pattern and the thread.
This is my #20 Motif Challenge. The pattern is Two Layer Tatting, by Jennifer Williams, that I found in the 2009 Ring of Tatters Magazine.
Lovely colours!!
ReplyDeleteThat's SUCH a pretty motif, goshy golly. Can see the leps have been there supervising/sticking their noses in!
ReplyDeleteoh i love the cheerful colours of this pretty little flower motif!
ReplyDeleteWow, the colors leap off the page...er, monitor. Isn't it the perfect HDT choice to banish the blahs and shoo away grey days?
ReplyDeleteDrop by on Tatting Tea Tuesday to see a snippet of Julie Patterson's Spring Bookmark tatted in Just Daffodils and a mossy green solid.
Your tatting is impeccible and an inspiration. Keep it up, as I need the extra motivation to focus on lace when the bright sunshine (jump rope, sidewalk chalk, water guns and other outside games) beckons me away.
Very nice, such a lovely design!

ReplyDeleteNeat pattern and worked in those colors it is VERY pretty! Looks like those little leprechauns need to tidy up their shamrocks! :)))
