Oh yes. I have a strategy for keeping on track, which helps a lot. I always have coloured markers close at hand for help with Airline tickets, timetables and instructions of all sorts.
Here's what got me through the Ben Fikkert mat.
ONLY 4 MOTIFS TO GO ON THE FINAL ROW!
Oh my, whatever method works to get you to the end. I often draw on post-it's and attach to the pattern page. I mark sequence, show SR or magic thread planning. It is very helpful to remind me what is going on because if I put it down for a day or two I have forgotten what I was doing.
ReplyDeleteThose colored markers do come in handy! I'm doing the same thing with my JS Masterpiece, and I don't have dyslexia.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see that it looks used :) I have notes written all over mine and it is so bend up this makes me smile! I hurried a bit on mine and had to redo some motifs I miss attached some of them, and didn't notice it till I was putting on last round. Well sounds like you will be done in two shakes of a lambs tail :) Can't wait to see and tell us what is measures too!
ReplyDeleteSo awesome the progress you are making!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI believe colour pens, markers, etc. are a wise investment in a tatter's arsenal - dyslexia or no dyslexia ! These have got me through some tough decisions, visualizations, & problem-solving efforts. Having dried out my earlier 50 pen set, I recently bought another !
ReplyDeleteGirls wanna have fun :-D
I do the same thing. What would we do without colored markers? :-)
ReplyDeleteFond regards to Mr. G.

What a clever, clever method! Even for those who don't have dyslexia! Wow!
ReplyDeleteVery good idea for everyone not matter if they have dyslexia or not.

Fabulous! I color code everything as well - at work and at home. I haven't taken my high liters to this level yet, but I see a future for them ;)
