Getting close to beginning the last 12 motifs. It absolutely astounds me that I have come this far!
A couple if years ago I would NEVER have even contemplated tackling this pattern and I recall how nervous I was when the Floriade book arrived.
I am pleased.
You are still doing awesome!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWow this is beautiful and exciting! I read what you said about the chains and this is very interesting kinda makes my heart race. I guess this is what you will be doing after you complete this set of motifs. Yours looks so good just perfect and can't wait to see more, the shuttle looks so small :) You know blues and white would be cute too maybe we should try that next ha ha ha!
ReplyDeleteFox the Fearless! :)
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh! Marvellous moniker! Thanks, Willow. : ))
DeleteA wonderful gauge of progress!
ReplyDeleteYou have come a long way and it's looking beautiful, well done

It's so striking, photographed on a white background - the outlining chains almost look as though they are scribbled in, like a child's drawing - very effective.
ReplyDeleteAnd you should be pleased... it looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous!

Excellent job. I am pleased for you. I am just not sure when I will get back to it. I feel like I abandoned you. I must apologize. We were suppose to tat this together. Those darned twisted chains. Got me good.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel. I had to pack it in with Under The African Sky when I just could not get it right. The Celtic knots did me in and I felt so badly leaving the challenge. They got me good! We all have our little tatting Waterloos. : )
