Your heart is really coming along!! Tension is something that can be a brute!! When I finish a piece of tatting I make a note on the pattern if I had to change my tension through out to piece or not. It helps if I ever redo the piece again. And your red and white motif looks great! Kelly
It's looking pretty good to me Fox! The right-hand side in particular I don't think could be done any better. I would be pleased with this little yellow heart. I'm still struggling along with the Tischband but looking at your nice Fujito motif makes me eager to try something new!
Your tatting is wonderful. My Flickr friend Janet told me about your blog & I am totally in awe of your skill. You must have enormous patience to do tatting so well.
Pat! *blush* What a lovely comment! Yes, patience for sure. But, if I can do it anyone can! I am dyslexic and have terrible co-ordination, but abundant bull-headed stubbornness! Thanks for the visit! Fox ; ))

ReplyDeleteYour Catherine Wheel joins show much improvement! Very nice. Like the yellow you used, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, All! Your supportive words have inspired me to tackle it again!

Getting better with the heart motif. :)
ReplyDeleteThe motif from the Japanese book is gorgeous. I'll have to dig mine out. Haven't tatted anything from there. Thanks for the inspiration.

Those CW joins look pretty good to me. Just how much of a perfectionist are you going to be with these?
ReplyDeleteI am going to quote Canada's most famous P.M. Pierre Elliott Trudeau on this one : Just watch me!
DeleteLovely happy heart, mine is scheduled to appear on my blog on the 1st March.
ReplyDeleteLovely little doily and great colours red and white.

ReplyDeleteJust saw the Van-Gogh comment :) I suppose that's an option.... *sigh* although I do wonder what happened to customer service?
