Gotta find the right beads for the last bit...
So glad the 'cookie' part is tatted. Man, I do not like fiddly!
Good to have persevered though,
as it is going to be a sweet motif when it is all finished - and blocked!

congrats on round 2, it looks fiddly, hooray for completing it. this will look great when it is finished. you tat so quickly and well.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, did you just use the "B" word? You're right, though, it will be beautiful when blocked.
ReplyDeleteSometimes just you gotta do what you gotta do. You are so funny!

Sometimes fiddly means frustration, but this time I think fiddly will be fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSweet motif indeed, but I have to say I was distracted by your shuttle. It has to be be one of the prettiest I've seen!
ReplyDeleteIts going to be so great! Well worth the frustration....
ReplyDeleteit's coming along very nicely, fox. don't give up. looking forward to seeing the final one. :)
ReplyDeleteFiddly, but oh, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis motif is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHi fox
ReplyDeleteFiddly it might be but simply divine it's going to be, looking forward to seeing the round
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog, I have had that pattern for a while and it's the first time I had done it, it's one that I will be keeping too
Margaret
Lovely piece of tatting. The contrasting beads are really eye-catching.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if I am ready to tackle something like this just yet. The double-rings, are they onion rings or chains?
p.s. Still having trouble posting comments in Chrome, so had to revert to Firefox. Can't understand why, considering that Chrome is a Google app.
Thanks, Jon!
DeleteThese are made beginning with a ring and then the rest are chains. There are three rows of chains.
Chrome? Argh! I read a lot of online reports and would not have anything to do with it as the reviews were less than flattering.
Before my Mac, I only used Firefox, which I really liked...

Wow ,looks so gorgeous!Congrats! Fiddlydy is done! Or is there a next challenge in round 3???I am awaiting the fnish... How can I find the pattern on the blog of Karey?
ReplyDeleteGunhild, you would have to ask Karey for her November 2011, Volume 20, Issue 4, Tatting Times booklet... They are mailed out four times a year and you need to subscribe. They are little publications, but chock full of tatting delights! Well worth the nominal cost.
