...that I would ever have tatted anything from the Ruth Scharf book.
I ordered it because it was so unusual, but I probably never would have tatted anything in it, but for my reading umintsuru's blog and following her Tat-Along. I figured everything was just too complicated.
Now, just look at this:
Thank you, umintsuru!
This one is for you.
Beautiful! I'm eagerly awaiting the left pattern and information on ordering the book. I love the colors you've chosen!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diane! You like it because it is blue!

Very pretty...I like the contrast of the pale blue in the flowers with the darker color I'm the leaves. Very nicely done :-)
ReplyDeleteWhen I view your work, I'm often convicted at how little imagination I have. You always come up with such lovely color combinations. Love the goat, too, by the way.
ReplyDeleteNice words, Eliz! I always wonder if I have really awful colour sense! As a kid I was always told that I did : O

Fabulous, after seeing what you have achieved and of course the wonderful help from umintsuru's blog, then I must have a go myself. Just love the colours.
ReplyDeletevery nice Fox, the colors are really pretty. but my brain is more traditional, so my leaves will have to be green. I need to get started on mine today.
ReplyDeleteThat looks wonderful and such awesome colors!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful! Love the colors. I'm enjoying watching all the participants in the tat a long.
ReplyDeleteThis is truly a work of art. I cannot even imagine the amount of hours you tatted to complete this stunning piece. Blissful tatting...
ReplyDeleteI love your colours Fox and the work is beautiful. I need to practice my tension more, but have enjoyed making the first flower. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, well done Fox, it looks gorgeous. You have a great sense of colour. What a great combination. I am so glad you did. What's next? Another Ruth Scharf's pattern? Another repeat in a great colour combination?
ReplyDeleteTatters Rock!
ReplyDeleteI think I would have tatted this just to receive such amazing comments.
Thank you so much, you guys! You are so supportive and generous with your kind words.
Fox : ) ❤
I love the blue of your leaves! I just finished my flowers and discovered my tension is all over the map so no two are the same. Oh well, they will have to do, as I don't have enough thread to redo them in the same colour. I'll post them on my blog tomorrow. I am always amazed by how perfect your tension is!
ReplyDeleteI copy you ! thank
