This time, I had enough thread - #50 HDT - to get around the hankie, because it was such a simple pattern.
Thanks to a tatting friend, I was able to have the perfect handkerchief for this pretty thread by Lea Rako.
Now, I am working on Renata's doily, wondering how large it will become and wondering also what design to begin for a new challenge... Ideas?

Love the pictures of this hankie and the color is so perfectly matching, I too wonder how large or how many rounds, I thought towards the beginning she said it was gonna be big, but then I wonder if it is translation :) Oh the excitement!
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not the only one who needs ideas. I've hit the tatting doldrums again too!
ReplyDeleteThe hankie is lovely! Perfect edging to match the embroidery. So many choices for another project....
ReplyDeleteVery pretty !
ReplyDeleteHow about picking a book & tatting it through à la Jane ?! Will be inspiring for us as well :-)
Great idea, but what book? : ))
DeleteGorgeous! That's the perfect thread for a beautiful hanky!
ReplyDeleteYour edging looks awesome!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYour hanky is gorgeous! I, too, have trouble finding a new project when I finish the ones I have started.

Lovely hanky, you are a great photographer. Inspiration is not my problem, just finishing them. I've always been a great starter. I like Muskaan's idea, tat through a book but now you need to choose a book.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tatters! Great comments all! : ))
ReplyDeleteExcellent! I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and beautiful hanky. Well done
