One more motif to do, though this photo is behind my progress. Actually, this pattern has gone very quickly, I think.
Just as well, as I am not enthralled! I'm not sure why, but for me this is a tedious tat - possibly because I am finding it so boring, and as I've already stated, am making lots of silly errors..
This one is much more fun - except for the wretched second-half of the ball of Lizbeth. Ghastly as usual. Hrmmmmph.
Mr. G would seem to share your opinion!
ReplyDeleteThose are both lovely. The red one is going to be more and more like a rose window, pretty. So sorry for the low quality of the thread, that one you sent me is good so far, maybe not all is flawed.
ReplyDeleteThis is not boring, Fox. I find it breathtaking to see jist how fast you make progress!
ReplyDeleteMr G sniffs out a different continent. How is weather in Toronto?
It is COLD here! VERY COLD!
DeleteEven with all those stresses you sure are doing an awesome job!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love Gian's appearances on the blog! Doilies are looking FINE!
ReplyDelete...such a ham...
DeleteIt's always the second half of the ball, isn't it! - must be a reason for that. I don't think your Stawasz piece is boring at all, I'm enjoying it. looking at tatting is all I will be involved with for quite a while, apart from the TIAS, because 2015 has begun with the need for another Baby Shawl.....
ReplyDeleteSounds as if congrats are in order!!!
DeleteYour tedious tat looks pretty good to me! I am getting tired of my own silly mistakes. Focus, focus, focus... at least that's what I keep telling myself!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tatters! : )
ReplyDeleteIt might be tedious but it's looking very nice, the red doily is looking beautiful, I think Mr G is checking you have done it right?
ReplyDeleteLove to Mr G
Margaret
