There will be very similar blog postings for a while; there is nothing to report as I tat away at both pieces.
Both patterns have been committed to memory, but that does not mean I have not spent a lot of time un-tatting. Silly mistakes reoccur as I am lulled into familiar rhythms, losing focus because of a movie plot, or I just drift away, caught up in my thoughts.
Then out come the scissors. Snip.
Both pieces look wonderful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHere's a thought .... get the scissors hidden ! THAT will force you to stay focused ;-P
ReplyDeleteBoth doilies are looking really nice :-)
These look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that this also happens to you, master tatter. The reasons you give are very interesting.
ReplyDeleteHode the scissors. LOL!
Bee-U-t-ful! ! ! ;)
ReplyDeleteBoth pieces are looking lovely, I think Mr G should hide the scissors for a while then you will have to stay frocus on the tatting.
ReplyDeleteLove to Mr G

Yes, it's sometimes easier to make mistakes on repetitive pieces than really tricky ones. Both are looking good though.
ReplyDeleteTwo doilies at once... I am impressed! I think I'll stick to one for now. ;-)
