...threads, that is. I used Ninetta's pre-wound shuttles for this. She had the shuttles filled with DMC #80, and also had loaded some nice beads, so I tatted till one shuttle was empty:
One other thing to show and that is from Sherry's T.I.A.S. Day Three. I believe Day Four is up, so I had better have a look.
The Mystery Doily is progressing nicely - still!
Tonight will be a test as I am going to finish Row Too - and you know
that means a final join..... : O
Since you finished round 1 so well, I think you will have no trouble with round 2. That is a pretty little motif, and how lucky to have some thread and beads with the shuttles.
ReplyDeleteI am starting my TIAS over, I snugged my chains up too tight, there is no way to get it to lay flat with the picots smooth and straight. f
I thought my TIAS was too loose and that it was supposed to cup. Lucky for me, for once I had it right! : ))
DeleteVery lovely tatting, Fox. It looks like a pumpkin with leaves on. What a nice shuttle by LaCosette! But then, your cat is beautiful . I am looking forward to see your mystery doily. Have a fun haloweeny
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tally Tatty! A pumpkin with leaves? How clever! I never noticed that. Thanks for telling me.

Great tatted pieces!! :)
ReplyDeleteNow that is tiny tatting! It's so cute! I haven't started Sherry's TIAS yet... too many distractions... but I do have the pages printed out!
ReplyDeleteNo smaller than all those samples you tatted up a while back with Oliver Twist! I need so much more practice - especially with Ninetta’s shuttles, but am enjoying the process a lot! : )
DeleteHi Fox
ReplyDeleteLovely little motif, magic shuttles working well??
Your day three TIAS looks good, and yes day four is posted.

I do like your 'pumpkin' tat. Have fun with the TIAS.
ReplyDeleteI love that shuttle with the little kitty on it! Sooo cute! Your work is always so pretty, Fox!
ReplyDeleteWonderful tatting pieces!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wee tats.
ReplyDeleteLooking good Fox..... Glad you are having fun with the tatting.
ReplyDeleteInteresting shuttle in the top pic...what is it?
From Italy, sent to me by Ninetta. It is blogged about in the previous post or one or two back. : ))

...of course you would notice the shuttle as I did! Read what happened... : ))
