My grandmother and other antique hankies I have purchased tatted directly on the hankie, and I have done 2 this way(using a very fine crochet hook to attach). With the scallops where they dip down you might try to add a small ring and then chain at the tops to even up to a straight line. At the same time add the edging you made and gather slightly on corners to go around. hopefully this made sense. But I'll understand if this sounds too confusing to do. I do lov
