Temptation

Oh yes.

I have been sorely tempted. I have given in to temptation. Most happily; that Honey napkin is no honey of mine.

Recognize this favourite? I just had to begin one...

Love the Woldflower and just had to take a break in order to tat another one of Karey Solomon’s patterns. Sweet and simple:

14/100 MC
And yesterday, while buying some shelf paper in the dollar store, I could not pass up this opportunity. Can you believe it? Hankies suddenly look like so much fun! : ))

  5. You'll be able fly through those hanky edgings compared to the Honey mat. It is very nice. Karen in OR

  6. That wildflower blue really is pretty - where do you find Caron threads? And I always love Mary Konior's wreath, it's perfect.

That is where i ordered it. LOTS of choice. many colourways. Too much temptation!

The Posy pattern is one of my all time faves.

  7. You are brave to attempt another hanky! I managed to turn the fourth corner yesterday, but it feels as though I have been tatting that damn thing for YEARS! There is a mistake on all three completed sides, (at least one...) and I still haven't made the centre hanky bit.
I have done one solitary repeat for round four of the doily, and I am itching to try the celtic picot... So little time. :0)

  8. A Mary Konior with beads. To answer your questions, the Ruth Scharf pattern is in the same book as Tischband. After the doilies, I haven't decided yet. Maybe more doilies. Which edging pattern will you choose for the hanky?

    1. You got it! Posy with beads.

Good - I just located the book. I had to go online to see what it looked like as I could not find it on my bookshelf and forgot what the cover looks like! I might try that one you just completed. It is so beautiful.

Any suggestions for the hanky? I don’t know and cannot figure where to begin looking! Too much choice.
