Sanity Saver

Finished this Mary Konior ‘Posy” pattern and am delighted with it. I have tatted this pattern three times over the past few years and have found it to be immensely satisfying.

 Measures 2 1/4 inches                Lizbeth #40              15/100 MC

“Honey” is calling...grumble, grumble.

  1. Beautiful! I'm going to drop all the snowflake tatting and follow your gorgeous lead to work on wreaths! What wonderful inspiration....

  2. BEAUTIFUL!! You do such nice work. I am trying to distract myself from my doily too, except mine's not as big as yours. Your work is beautiful though and I love how Christmasy your wreath looks!

  4. That's so pretty, very festive and perfect for this time of year!

I hear you on needing some of the instant gratification. Sometimes it really IS a sanity saver if one is doing a large and involved project. :)

  7. This is gorgeous! You're not giving yourself enough credit here! Although 'Posy' is shown in the book in gold (rather than white, which IS unusual), your use of green and the important and perfectly placed red beads makes it a fabulous wreath pattern! I'm sure Mary would be pleased!

I have to admit I questioned your sanity about even starting the doilies :) But you seemed to be undaunted and have made amazing progress on both! However, it's good to take a break! Of course, you really don't have to do ALL the rounds! They are works of art already!
