By chance, yesterday, I wandered into a yard sale in an area I seldom frequent - never do I go to yard sales - and I spotted a heap of jewellery; on a table in a plastic bag was a pearl necklace. It was a very good reproduction - I had to bite it to see if it was real!
So - you can guess the rest. I cut off the old pink thread and started over. This is the result.
I really like this one!

ReplyDeleteIt was with trepidation that I made that first cut in the pink one - but I just knew I could do something a lot better.
Now it remains to be seen if someone likes this piece well enough to purchase it from my Etsy shop! : ))

As I am partial to the Victorian 'theme', I am naturally impressed with this! The the combination of white thread, beautiful pearls and accent beads on the tips, perfectly complement this wonderful bracelet piece. Amazing how 'passed over' items have come together through your talents to become something wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHi, Kathy,

I looooove the green one with peach beads. And this lovely one makes me think of a pale moon shining on a tranquil rose garden on a peaceful evening.
