After years of impaling my fingers, I have finally mastered the trick of using a VERY fine crochet hook with a small picot! Yes, I get the bead on the picot first and then pray I will not stab myself with the hook as I manoeuvre the bead onto the thread to pull it through... I get nervous EVERY time!
You are progressing beautifully on this one!!! :) It's looking awesome already!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHow do you get the beads so snugly on those joins? - do you attach them to the picots before making the join? The colours are wonderful.

DeleteLove that pop of turquoise!
ReplyDeleteI must try that - it looks a lot neater than simply pulling the thread through the bead to join.
ReplyDeleteI love the touch of turquoise! I've just started this beautiful doily, so I'm playing catch-up.
ReplyDeleteI love your colour combination, looking beautiful so far
