This a.m....
My dear Jane,
Hoping against all hope that you have ingeniously augmented The Doctor's meagre arsenal of a sonic screwdriver, and added sonic scissors to his cosmic aid.
Unfortunately, methinks The Doctor's fan base may not extend far into Tat-Land. More's the pity...
Very clever post! A tatted sonic scissors would be perfect for Dr. Who, "Tatting is cool." Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Marilee. I hesitated begire posting as I fretted that a fair number of folks might miss the references... : ))
DeleteDear Fox, I know the Dr only thanks to you. I lived in English speaking countries , I got a degree from the OU(and consequently went to summer schools in the UK), my sister lived in London for years, and I never heard of Dr Who!
ReplyDeleteIt is especially amazing, since our televion is swamped by British and American programmes! And I like most of them!
Now tell me: Why do so mayny TATTERS like Dr Who??!!??
What's not to like? : ))
DeleteSonic scissors - can you imagine the trouble he'd get into - out of with these????
ReplyDeleteHehehe! : ))
DeleteOk, the TIAS does resemble scissors. :)
ReplyDeleteI always think Dr Who is scary and stressful, with all those Daleks and things, so I had to stop watching it sometime in the 60's.......
ReplyDeleteToo bad you have missed some 10 or so amazing transformations! I'm a latecomer and now LOVE The Doctor! : ))
