Actually it is ON the cuff , upside down and is looking great! Halfway done. I decided I would complete the first one and then proceed to the next. As in knitting socks or mitts - the second one is not as much fun!
I have started this AGAIN!
This makes it 5 or 6 times!
I love it! Keep on it . . .
ReplyDeleteOh, the edging is perfect.
ReplyDeleteYes, that looks perfect now!
ReplyDeleteHmmm that thread looks so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe edging is looking great!! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteKelly
your jacket is going to look great.
ReplyDeleteglad you found the problem with Almas Fox, now I know this version will come out perfect.
This is one of my favorite edgings, and you have made the perfect decision to place it this way! It shows the beauty of the pattern, and also may be safer, as lace could get caught on something when hanging 'free'. As quickly as you tat, you'll have this project completed in no time!
ReplyDeleteNot only am I impressed with your tatting, but also your ability to make your posts so interesting (and often funny!) plus your clever photography and writing on the photos. Then, of course, there is the latest pose of Gian the Magnificent! (I think he'd like THAT description!) Ohhh, those eyes, even 'upside down'!!
Oh! The edging is looking lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteVery stylish!
ReplyDeleteThe edging looks great. Congrats! Glad that Almas is now 'doable' for you. It occurred to me that you could salvage the earlier Almas flakes by attaching a ribbon hanging-loop, bow or decorative charm at the point where you finished them 'creatively'. :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks great. I really like the upside down edging and it complements the jacket nicely.
ReplyDeleteYour jacket edging is the perfect touch. Great art wearable. Blissful tatting...
ReplyDeleteI like what you chose to do with the edging. There's a nice feminine touch that fits the cuff perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI admire your ability to stick with a pattern until you've figured it out. I'm not that patient. I hate to think of the patterns I've started, cut off, and thrown away!
Super joli style!!!! Une caresse à Gian!!!
ReplyDeleteBises
I love the edging and it looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteI hope you manage the pattern this time.
I am sure he had a cuddle but if you have not got time I am sending him one, I promise not to give him the flu.
Margaret
