I said it was the end of Almas. It still is! THAT one I will not do again! But I did not want
Jon to think I have not enjoyed all the others I have tatted so far from her wonderful book of snowflakes:
And, I have already begun tatting a new one from the book,
but I will save that for another day.
Lastly,
WHERE IS ANGELINE?
Your jacket looks great! Nice group of snowflakes.
ReplyDeleteLove your jacket, the lace is the perfect embellishment and adds a beautiful finishing detail to the jacket!
ReplyDeleteYour snowflakes are also incredibly lovel! You have tempted me with so many of them, all beautifully done, that I am simply going to have to get Jon's book...have been trying to be good since I think I spent my limit on tatting books this year procuring Mary Konior's books, but Jon's snowflakes are so so very nice :-)
Thank you, Suz!
ReplyDeleteThat they are, Julie R! Thank you for your kind comments.

The jacket is a real stunner! Have you worn it yet?
ReplyDeleteI'm inspired to get Jon's book by your lovely creations, thank you!
Thanks, Michelle. No, it is really a light weight jacket and very short, so the weather is wrong for its wear. Springtime... I am so pleased, as the sleeves are not only comfortable for the first time ever, but really look good. New life for the old overcoat!

Your jacket is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love how your jacket turned out - the tatting really adds a whole different look to it. Love Jon's Gems too :)
ReplyDeleteThe jacket looks amazing (and expensive!). Definitely the right decision to sew the trim in that direction - hanging down it would've driven you mad... Looks really nice like that though.
ReplyDeleteAnd i love Jon's snowflakes too... I'm just about to start making some for mini xmas gifts.
Love the 'flakes.
ReplyDeleteAnd the coat looks spectacular, like couture wear.
