How long will it take the thread to arrive from Australia? I guess about two weeks. Bets?
I did manage to complete the round without running out, which is very lucky! Now I'm playing the same dangerous game, as I've begun a border on another of my hankie gifts. This one is for me.
The thread is Karey's, #70, a freebie, (thank you, Lea!) combined with a #80 Lizbeth, so I don't - hopefully - run out! The pattern is Karey's.
I hope your thread arrives in less than two weeks! Great hanky, and I really like the thread!
ReplyDeleteI think that thread is perfect for that hankie! What an eye you have for choosing your colors! It's going to be very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe edging is going to look perfect with the motif. I hope postie has his skates on.
ReplyDeleteFox, Knowing the inside workings of Australia Post, which is going through a bit of turmoil at the moment, two weeks is fair guesstimate. Was a time not so long ago when it would have been less than 7 days. Love your work and the various exploits of Mr G. Hilary (aka 2xcatz)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inside info, Hilary - good to know! MrG really appreciated your comment! : )
DeleteThe hankie edging you are starting looks great! very delicate!
ReplyDeleteYour doily is beautiful already!!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I am sure that hanky edging is going to be wonderful!!! :)
Your doily becomes more and more beautiful. But this little edging is so cute, I love especially the cheerful colors .
