It's taking a long time because of all the joins and ends to hide. That round doesn't appeal to me craft-wise at all. I may stop two rounds before it and call it good, especially since I used size 10 thread!
This is the first time I have been able to see the tiny beads! - because the shuttle somehow draws attention to them. Just enjoy the journey, as the saying goes - sometimes it really is better to tat than to come to the end of an absorbing project .
