Naughty Pumpkin

Here it is!
 Not exactly beautiful, but the knot is now doable!
Next time, I will tat a longer chain as this one was just too short.
#4, 100 Motif Challenge

I had to borrow Gian's cord to practice the knot.
 I was so deep in concentration that I was not aware
that he was sitting about a foot away from me... glaring!

Suddenly, I felt his steely gaze;
I was forced to go and cut a length of my own cord...

  1. That is beautiful, a cute little pumpkin. Perhaps I ought to give Celtic tatting another go.

  4. I don't think that pumpkin looks bad especially since no real ones are perfect! But, if it had been done in brown it would be a perfect acorn. :)

    I think Monsieur Gian has forgiven me - I think!

  15. Gian:

    I hope you got a LONG cord. Otherwise, you need to run off with Her thread and hide it in the litter box.

    The glare is good, though. Excellent technique.

    PS For some reason, that stupid Sophie wants to be remembered to you.

  17. You've really figured out the weaving thing - just in time for Halloween!

    I think the card companies or cat magazines would LOVE to have that photo! Gian could be thinking SO MANY different things! I can't believe he sits still like that! And those eyes!

  19. Gian, I must congratulate you on your staring skills. My silly servant never feels my gaze, so I am always forced to attack.
