Magical M's

Lots of m's:  Miranda,  gave me the maple shuttle; Mary Konior for the design; Michelle sent me the variegated vintage thread and me for putting it all together.  Magical!

Then there is Martha

This new book is terrific -  well-organized, beautiful patterns,
cleanly designed, easily comprehended: my kind of instructions!
Thank you Martha!

The final M is for Misha, who
lives on in my memory and in my tatting. ♥
I thank my friend Bev for the constant visual.

  1. nice tatting.
I like the book too. the bookmark is one I test tatted for Martha. very nice pattern, very well done.

  2. An especially touching post today.

Hats off to you for sharing your tatting vim and vigor so generously, the parcels you have mailed off in the past month or so have led to many good reads (by me) from tatting bloggers around the globe. Thank you!

  3. Marvelously magical mix! I like the pink and red together in the bookmark. I think I'll add Martha's book to my wish list.

  4. Beautiful motif, lovely bookmark, all tatted beautifully, well done

  5. It looks like you've really been inspired by the letter M!

  6. I love the color of that lavender thread! Beautiful work! Does Michelle sell hand dyed thread?

  7. Hi, Linda,
The thread was from a giveaway! Here is Michelle's blog, though, which you might like to check out. It is a fun read!
    Fox : )

  8. All your 'M's look amazing! The more I see from Martha's new book the more it seems I'll have to get it. (Christmas is coming up, right?)

  9. This is a beautiful motif and especially in the colours you have chosen. I can see I am going to have to get a SS book - do Amazon sell time as well?

Thanks you for showing the Playing with picots book - I didn't think it was for me but I've seen a few projects from it now and am beginning to think I was wrong and I might need to get it.
