You know, when I posted the last photo of the mat without a matching shuttle, it crossed my mind that someone would comment - and that is exactly what happened!
So, for you, Maureen, I took new photos; one is an update of the rectangular mat with accompanying shuttle and the other shows what came in the post today: the Girly Girl thread #80 and the 4" doily.
The shuttle I have picked is with the supplies, waiting to be wound. Whew!
You are making fabulous progress on your rectangle doily and it looks wonderful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the next project supplies!! :)
Oh yay, glad the postal system came through for you. Of course, matching shuttles are a must.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! - two perfect pictures and all's well with the world.

DeleteMatching thread to shuttles can be a bit obsessive compulsive for me. I've been known to give up starting projects because I couldn't find the shuttle to match the thread or vice versa. So now, I just force myself to grab the nearest shuttle. However, once the reorganization is complete (probably several years from now) I know I shall slip back in to the need to coordinate. By the way, you've done a lovely job both of matching thread to shuttle and tatting!
ReplyDeleteSuper postępy w serwecie a czółenka mnie zachwyciły. Faktycznie, pasują idealnie :)
ReplyDeleteMica said: Super progress napkin and shuttles me impressed . In fact , they fit perfectly :)

I saw the rectangular napkin on other blogs, but only this color set (thread and a shuttle) so captivated me that I will do the same doily :)
ReplyDeleteHI there, Marta!
DeleteLove it! Thank you for your comment! :)
... I look forward to seeing what you do!
DeleteOh, I put photos on the blog... again...
DeleteI'm tatting and sewing, and bookbinding :) But I don't do new photos for now.
