It is looking amazing! You might not need that extra ball, but if you came down to that last repeat of the last round and you ran out of thread - Gian would probably have to cover his ears and the neighbors would be wondering what horrible, awful thing had befallen you. It's safer for everyone for you to have an extra ball, don't you think?
I am pleased you were able to get some more thread. I don't think you will need it, but at least you are prepared in case.
ReplyDeleteLove to Gian
Margaret
I'm not sure either, Margaret, but instead of ordering two, I only ordered one. This is not a thread I am likely to use again. : )
DeleteIt looks so stunning and it's not even finished. Just think of how amazing it's going to look when finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks,Sue! Your support is amazing. : )

ReplyDeleteThe doily is absolutely fantastic ! Each round just adds to the previous one :-) Love those tiny specks of red beads !
ReplyDeleteBeauteous! :) It truly is a wonder!
ReplyDeleteNow I will worry - I would have bought two - or three....but I like perle cotton, especially Finca.
ReplyDeleteVery yardage intensive. I like the beads too--adds definition to the repeated motifs.
ReplyDeleteFunny, the contrast between these two photos! And the beads showing in the second!
ReplyDeleteWow ça donne le vertige ! Vraiment bluffant ! / Wow it is staggering! Really stunning!
