#80 Venus, DMC and Lizbeth
I had so much trouble keeping my mind concentrated on this last round; it is a right mess.
Cut, fix, cut, fix all the way around. I became too bored and disgusted to just cut it off and start again; I absolutely could not imagine it. I wonder what comes next.

ReplyDeleteHi Fox
ReplyDeleteWe all have our bad days, mine was yesterday, my tatting never went well either.
I love the way he investigated it, at least he takes an interest in what you tat. I still think he was a tatter in a previous life.
Love to Gian

Oh, but it Does look wonderful, Fox ! And especially the yellow shade you have chosen - not only hides any errors you might have made But actually highlights the entire doily. Love the shade & your pattern :-)
ReplyDeleteMr G is an expert tatting critic by now. Logic!
ReplyDeleteThe last round has an interesting design even if it was not easy. You must have missed Gian and lost concentration. The next round will be better with G by your side.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful! I did the same thing - cut a big chunk of the whole last round off and started over, then finally got tired of all the mistakes and do-overs, so did the 'cut/fix, cut/fix' thing all the way around. Did a lot of picking out, too - no small feat in size 100 thread. ;-) Greetings to Mr. G. He seems quite interested in your tatting.

Awwwww . . . . Mr. G has such a cute nose! ! ! :) Or, should I say he has quite the nose for tatting? ? ? :) Sorry to hear about the frustrations. Hopefully, things will start going more smoothly!
