Yes, I am lumbering along with the Burda pattern; nearly there.
In the meantime, here are today's lilacs, snitched from a neighbour's tree while on my run this a.m. Shhhhh. They sit atop the pattern of Liyarra's I tatted last year.
See! I put it on my table so I could see it under the flowers. Maybe I'm learning? Maybe.
Gian was not overly excited about the lilacs. Good - he won't eat them. ; )

Love the fragrance I would snitch them too! :) Now that doily is not so lonely!
ReplyDeleteThe lilacs are gorgeous! Gorgeous colours :). Love the tatted doily too :).
ReplyDeleteWhat? Is this twice in a month that your tatting has actually been displayed as it ought to be? That's great! After all the work you put into it, it really should be on display and not shoved in a drawer.
ReplyDeleteSquijum has never met a flower he wouldn't eat, so sadly, I can't bring real ones into the house. I find it very odd that obligate carnivores like to eat flowers, but good on you, Gian for refraining.
I know! Twice. Old dogs, noew tricks sort of thing...
DeleteMisha used to eat everything including thread. I had to be really careful. Gian is not interested in any of it. He just insists on interactive play. Siamese cats - really smart! More like a dog in some activities.

Hey, Squijuum - you figured out what bugs her! Keep up the good work, buddy!
Your Pal,
Gian

ReplyDeleteGian, always so handsome! It is gorgeous - the lilacs with the doily. I wish I could enjoys its scent.
ReplyDeleteLilacs are one of my favorite flowers. Love the fragrance. The doily is lovely on the table, displayed proudly. And Gian - oh, what a totally gorgeous cat he is.
