Geweldig! (= GREAT!). Had to look twice when you mentioned the pattern. Have tatted this myself a dozen times, but did not recognize it because of the colours! Super!
It's pretty! You're good at combining variegated colors with solids!
What's interesting is... that snowflake pattern looks a little different depending on the colors used.
I tatted this in Neapolitan HDT from Lady Shuttle Maker, and it looked so beautiful.
Then just recently, I tatted this same pattern in a mix of Lizbeth Falling Leaves and some Tridalia Christmas Green... Ugh, I thought it looked terrible! and it reminded me of circus clown colors. It also made certain aspects of the pattern stand out more than others, making it look a little different than the one in Neapolitan.
Anyway, Falling Leaves and Christmas Green don't mix well together (in my op) But no matter what, I will always love this pattern
This is stunning - perfect partnership of thread and pattern.
ReplyDeleteFox, this is so beautiful! I love the colour you've chosen, and the pattern is fabulous!

It's GORGEOUS, Fox! I love it when a pattern and thread combine beautifully to create something that looks like it exists naturally.
