Looks like a gangster bonnet!
The form I concocted is a holder for paper towels, covered by a couple of sheets of paper towel - not the same shape as a baby's head! In reality, the shape of the bonnet is just about perfect:
Ahhh, yes, Tatskool, I am moving on!
Anon,
WOW, that looks fantastic. Well done and congratulations on your perseverance.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful! Young miss will look so sweet in this chef-d'oeuvre.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
That's beautiful! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI love your "mannequin"! (and your sense of humour!)
It's a beautiful treasure!!! I really like the delicate touches of color with the white. Absolutely exquisite work, and you managed all that in spite of pattern difficulties. Outstanding!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely !!
ReplyDeleteImpressive. It's so pretty. Looking at it I'm thinking that you could make something similar into an adult summer hat though I don't know if that's possible. Gorgeous, well done!
ReplyDeleteAt last! You must be so happy it turned out so well after all that hard work. I love the green and pink -- so Spring-like.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Fox! I've set mine down for awhile....it seems to be taking forever after an initial quick start. Must be that tiny thread I'm using. :-(
ReplyDeleteSOOO pretty, Fox! It does have a nice shape (when not on your pointy paper toweling - alarms would go off if a baby's head was THAT shape - lol),and the rosettes look so sweet with that pink ribbon.
ReplyDeleteGreat job - hope you are off to enjoy your next tatting adventure!
:) Ann
