'Roses', with lots of YELLOW
I have no idea where I got this pattern, called "Beaded Wreath". It wasn't from a book, so it must be something I saw on the Internet. If anyone recognizes it, please let me know, so I can credit the designer! Thanks.
Isn't it wonderful? I just love the yellow beads with this thread and it was a great pattern to tat.
Anon,
It is absolutely GORGEOUS Fox! The colors in that thread are just beautiful and your dollar store beads match perfectly! I like that pattern too - hope someone recognizes it. Did you find it on the internet?

Very bright and very beady!! Just what I like.
ReplyDeleteLooks great.
Reminds me of a rose called Tropicana which is roses and touches of yellow mixed within...pretty Foxy, Fox. B
ReplyDeleteVery pretty indeed.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Fox!! The yellow beads look great with this color!!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's gorgeous! The colors are awesome! I could've sworn I had this pattern listed under my "Tatting Patterns I'm Gonna Tat", but I have nothing under the title of "Beaded Wreath"...maybe I have it under something else so if you do come up with the link do share because I'd love to tat it up sometime, too!
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteFox,
ReplyDeleteOh how I love tatting and beads together! It is BEAUTIFUL!
Very pretty! The beads really are a beautiful touch!
ReplyDeleteGeorgeous! You're doing a great job using up that thread! Can't wait to see what else you make.
ReplyDeleteBellissima! In that colorway, with those bright beads, it puts me in mind of a wild Irish Rose (not that I have ever seen one). Were you able to tat in all in one pass?
ReplyDeleteIt's yummy!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I want that thread now. I have that pattern, too. The designer is Samantha Melnychuk, aka TeenTatter. I have a couple of her snowflake books.
ReplyDeleteI am writing this post from The Big Apple!
ReplyDeleteBefore I even pick up a shuttle, I wanted to thank you all for such a wonderful response to this motif! Thank you! : )
Thank's Steph, for the info, but I do not remember that name at all! I am mystified!
I love that thread too. Almost too much to use it. but not quite lol!
ReplyDeleteThat's so bright & cheery with the yellow beads! I just don't use yellow enough, & wouldn't have thought to use it with that thread. It's soooooooo lovely!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - what a great use of the thread.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors. The pattern is copyright 2000 by Samantha Melnychuk. The old link to it was: http://www.domesticarts.com/Patterns/teenwreath.html
ReplyDeleteMaybe someone who knows how to use the WayBack Machine can find an active link.
Steph and Martha,
ReplyDeleteThank you both - you were so correct! I managed to track this down through the Way Back Machine. Whew! : ))
I love this combination of colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks, M! : )
