gave me the idea to post this shot which reminds me of what I finished just last night - after LYING and saying I would have no new pictures of new tattting for a while!
SURPRISE!

It's a bit of a stretch, but the petals of the flower remind me of the little tallies - which still are sooo far from where they should be! I am SLOWLY getting the feel of this piece and of tatting Cluny leaves. I can tat it more quickly, but the skill of it is eluding me, big time!

wonderful,
ReplyDeleteyou have a great ability
Congrats on getting the feel of Cluny leaves! Something else for me to learn!
ReplyDeleteVery nice work! :)
ReplyDeletePhotographs AND tatting. It's a win, win! I'm impressed with your cluny leaves. All that time in the coffee shop making funny faces paid off! They look rawwwther complicated to me, sort of like you stop tatting and begin weaving for a bit. Good job!

I think your clunies are coming along nicely!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone! Your comments were encouraging, but I was not pleased with this when I looked at in on the blog...... Tomorrow, the new one..... GRRRRRR... : ))
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the clunies! After some help from the online tatting class I'm going to give this a try also. I'm looking forward to seeing your next try at them.
ReplyDeleteFox,
ReplyDeleteyour Cluney Leaves are a real good job.
I haven't tried to make them yet. I will... maybe...
