Martha and Miranda both sent help. Right away. Ah, Tat-land.  What a wealth of aid and talent to go with it.  Thank you both for heeding the call and sending in the troops!

After MANY hours ( I am ashamed to admit HOW MANY ) of trial and error, I finished this up this a.m. EARLY in the a.m. Ahem... VERY early.

I am going to have to try it again to see if it is still as challenging as it was the first time, as I struggled with it all the way to the bitter end and was still not 100% sure of what I was doing.

This is most a perplexing puzzle for the  - as Miranda puts it -  person with directional challenges! That would definitely be moi!

See Sarah!  It CAN be done!  Just stick to it...  : ))

Now... considering another hankie - with help.

De-Stashing: Anyone For Hand-Me-Downs?

It does not take much to whip me into a cleaning, tossing and de-stashing frenzy.  I will pare down at the drop of a hat - only ONE hat though!

So, after having closed up mum's apartment and gotten rid of all her worldly possessions, I was in a fine mood to blaze through my own place.

I have found two shuttles I like very much, but never use - I have many from LaCossette! - a couple of thread samples, a few findings and Bob's your uncle.

Leave me a comment if you would like to be the benefactor of my Tat-land stash-sacking and I shall use the old Random Number Generator on Saturday morning. I have 2 packages... There will be two winners.
Now, a question for you:

'Rose Window' Re-Visited

This time, with Lizbeth #40 and four different colours of beads.
The pattern is Karey Solomon's.

I like my new trick of adding that fourth bead to the three at the centre of the ring.
This idea was inspired over a year ago by Elizabeth, who tats so beautifully.

Rockin' through the 'Rose Window'

Rose Window
Design by Karey Solomon
#40 Lizbeth

Such a pretty pattern and such a relaxing tat.
I am doing this one again but with
three different kinds of beads,
in a different colourway.

So far, I  am really
liking what I am tatting.

Someone else?
Not so much.
