This One Is Green

Another button.

I was going to crochet a baby blanket, but, honestly, when I started the thing, I actually immediately became agitated and quite queasy! Crochet is just not in the cards for me anymore! I'm giving the yarn to crafty friends who will do lovely things with it. Whew!

So, back to buttons and I'm looking at a new Jan Stawasz pattern. Frivole is on the final round of that beauty.

  1. You did make me smile. Yup, if crochet makes you queasy, give the yarn to someone else!! I like the green button, splendid.

  2. I do love your buttons! Crochet doesn't make me queasy, but I really have to push myself to work on crochet projects... and to think I used to do thread crochet every day!

  3. I can no longer crochet because it hurts too much! I still knit though, and at present I am preparing a large and lacy shawl for grandchild number 10, Tatting is the only craft which doesn't hurt my thumb.

  4. I haven't crocheted since I started tatting either - it just isn't . . . something.

Thanks, now I need buttons. LOL.

    1. I'm having some difficulty finding buttons I like. Strange to remember a wonderful, HUGE all-button store in Toronto years ago. It sold some very old, very expensive vintage buttons and everything else down to cheap, everyday, white shirt ones.

I can't crochet, knit yes you name it I have knitted it, crochet not an earthy chance, it would end up as a bowl.

    1. Hope all went well at the clinic.

The last row is slow and a wee bit fiddly, but it is very pretty. A nice completion. I've only tatted about 7 repeats.

    2. The eye is very sore, and painful at the moment.
I have looked at the picture but not started it yet, hopefully when the eye settles down I can start on the round. It does look very pretty when it's finished, I like the pattern and may do another one
      Look forward to seeing yours.
      Love to Mr G
