I have completed even more than this and also - ta-da- had to apply the scissors! The row looked weird in one place and finally I realized I had tatted an extra motif. See what happens when you do not move like a snail!
The good news is that I managed to fix it easily and without any emotional or physical trauma whatsoever. Bonus.
Back to work...
Looking frothy !
ReplyDeleteWow!!! That amazing progress inspires me-I hope the inspiration lasts until January so that I can hopefully get back to finishing the final row on mine! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's looking lovely. I'm glad that you've decided to finish it,because it's inspiring me to finish the one I have on the go.
ReplyDeleteHooray! Glad you have your tatting oomph back and that mistake wasn't too dire.
ReplyDeleteGreat! If did not the scissors, nobody can stop you :-)
ReplyDeleteIt really is a beautiful doily! I'm thinking of going for another large project in 2017, but I haven't found one that really calls to me yet. I'm glad there was no trauma involved!
ReplyDeleteMost of my mistakes comes from being so excited about something in tatting an I mess every thing up too. Glad there was no heavy costs :)
ReplyDeleteSlow down, ya move too fast. Gotta make the mornin' last ... (remember that song, or am I totally dating myself?)
ReplyDelete...feel'n groovy!!!!
