Aah, now at least, I have time to answer!! I was breathless for some time trying to catch up reading your blog. You did an amazing job tatting so much and so fast! Keeping a blog, however, is something that you do for yourself, not for other people. It is just our privilege to read it.
Both doilies are coming along nicely! I kind of wish I had the pattern for the Stawasz monster, but I really don't need to start another project. The Russian pattern never interested me until I saw you and Umintsuru working on it. Maybe I need to look at that book again (once I made a dent in my UFOS, that is!)
