The Very Last Stitch!
What began on November 1, 2012...
is now finished!
Thank you, thank you, thank you Tat-Land for sticking with me through this THREE MONTH ordeal!
Thank you, Renulek for this fantastic pattern for the tatting journey. : )
Thank you Frivole, for the wonderful shuttles that kept me inspired.
Amazing that I got it tatted in three months and even more astounding that you all stuck with me throughout the entire ninety days of grumbling, complaining, whining and winging!
I just sewed in the last thread and am going to press it and photograph it in all its completed splendour, which I shall post tomorrow.
♥ Happy Fox : ))
You are amazing!!! I couldn't have done. It just amazes me that you made something that size and that beautiful in 3 months. Outstanding job. I can't wait to see the final picture!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debbie,
DeleteI am looking forward to seeing it pressed and complete myself!

Calloo Callay, O Frabjous Day......congratulations on slaying your own personal Jabberwock, and I can't wait to see the photo.
ReplyDeleteHow many shuttles does it take to tat a Honey Napkin? - I like that idea.

A MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to you Fox!!! Woohooo! You must be so pleased with yourself. I love large lace pieces and I hope you'll get to use it and show it off often.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I couldn't help noticing how well the honey thread and the red beads went with the gold pattern on the shuttle (which even has small red dots to mimic your red beads!).
ReplyDeleteI know! So glad you saw that!

DeleteHurray!!! Yahoo!! Well done, Fox, sticking with this until it was finished. I bet it's a stunner.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous!!! And you did it so quickly( when you say 3 months it sounds quick for such a large piece, I think mine has been about that long and no where near as big, but so many things have prevented me from finishing it, but I am still trying). :)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! Congrats on keeping with it! I am thoroughly impressed. :o)
ReplyDeleteWooohoooooo! Oh I can hardly wait to see the grand reveal! What an amazing accomplishment. :)
ReplyDeleteYAAAY! You're finally done =D Congrats!
