#47 Heart Fot Misha, designed by Fox #40 Lizbeth thread
Thanks to who gave me solid advice. I have listened to what you had to say, and have this to show for it. I like it and am writing up the pattern now.
When it has been tested I shall release the heart to Tat-land and * blush * ahem.... admit to wanting to be a designer of tatting when I grow up. It has take me over 12 months to get from the first heart to this one with a written pattern. Ah, confidence... so elusive!
This is so pretty! I like the simple look to it, not too much in the way of beads and the colors are perfect (my second favorite color)
ReplyDeleteIt's SO wonderful! Need any other testers? I get to go to Hobby Lobby this week so I'm looking for centers.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a lovely pattern. Looking forward to seeing the pattern so I can try my hand at it. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice!! :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice Fox. you are a designer. you use colors in unique and wonderful ways. you add beads where there are none in the pattern, and they work very well.
ReplyDeleteYou have designed before (I know, cuz I have tatted one).
so, you don't have to wait until you grow up, you are a designer already.
P.S. I'll test tat if you need me.
Sounds like a great prospect, Fox! Lovely heart!
ReplyDeleteYeah, don't wait till you grow up, 'cause that could be a looong time! This is a great heart, and I like the center you used.
ReplyDeleteHi Fox
ReplyDeleteLovely heart, we are all designers when we play with thread and patterns, different colours, and finding a different way of doing a chain or ring. Look forward to seeing your written pattern for your great heart.
Margaret
I really like this, Fox. Very nice pattern.
ReplyDeleteThis heart is wonderful design! I'm surprised you don't think of yourself as a designer! Your Maeve and Abigail patterns are excellent, and the diagrams are perfect! Your use of the split rings in Maeve is amazing to me. I tatted the pattern awhile ago (and even have it displayed on a wall in my living room!), and when I just checked on your pattern again this morning, I had forgotten there are split rings in it, which enable chains to come off the ends of the smaller clovers rather than from the centers, which is brilliant. I myself have not yet mastered the drawing software, so I applaud your doing such a great job, even though you say you've had difficulties with drawing! I do prefer to tat from drawings, so I'm always grateful to those tatters who provide them.
