Yes, I promised Jane I would indeed tat this pattern and I seem to be able to follow it much more easily than I (or a certain tatting buddy) thought possible! Not exactly a piece of cake, but perhaps a more modest muffin. It's getting there - and is a satisfying challenge. So far:
