Eeeoooouuuu, horrible shuttle disaster - was that your new shuttle? So sorry to see. My sympathy!
Oh no! What happened?
When's the funeral? I feel for you deeply at this sad time of your life. To lose such a dear friend is a great loss.
Oh no! A picture of the worst sort! What happened? I've never seen a shuttle break like that. Must be a defect? You poor thing!
Oh No! Oh dear! Do these things come with a warranty?
hmmm...a brand new shuttle shouldn't do that. Odd break - check with the vendor.
What a pity!
SOOO VERY SORRY! Your time together was too short!:( Ann
A very sad sight, it made me want to cry! I can well imagine how you are feeling at the moment
It would appear that shuttles live dangerously in your company! First the DRS shuttles, now this poor Inox. Let me guess: you were planning another spontaneous remote tatting session and the shuttle fell out of your bag as you were loading the car. It does not look quite damaged enough to have been driven over, so perhaps you stepped on it, or sat on it (no, not in the driveway). RIP, poor Inox.I have not yet managed to break a shuttle. The worst that has happened is that one of my Roseground silent tatters (which I have the devil of a time controlling because they are just a little too heavy) flew out of my grasp and disappeared down a mahogany ventilation hatch in the floor of my upstairs studio. After a wild ride on the ceiling fan below, it crashed to the ground floor and skittered wildly for several feet. The only damage that I can see is perhaps a slight bend in the hook.It would be fun to hear other people's stories of shuttle accidents...
Not your new one!? Super glue?
Ohhh Fox, how awful.if this is the shuttle from Roseground, you just got, might a flaw or crack have developed in shipping? contact Pat at Roseground they have wonderful customer service.
oooooooooh.....so sad...It never crossed my mind that a shuttle can be broken...evenmore...that way..:((ooh...haaaa.can it be fixed?
Poor shuttle. How did that happen? I have only broken 1 shuttle - a plastic bobbin-type, the shuttle broke at one end. It was thin at the end.
LOL!!! Thank you all for your wonderful, supportive sentiments! The overwhelming grief would have been unbearable had it not been for your heartfelt sympathy.I have posted my.... hmmmm explanation.... confession....in my next post.....Fox : ))
Oh Fox, my condolences! XX Bev
