Oh No!

I might have to use another thread after all for the last row.

Scissors were necessary as I had to completely retat this row. BIG mistakes were made. My focus was on Zentangle and my tatting suffered greatly.

It is necessary to flow down when distracted - you'd think I had learned this important fundamental tatting rule by now!

However, I love everything about this little mat.

And now,
may I brag a bit, please?

  1. I love your Zantangle, love the colouring.
Oh dear you can't do two things at the same time, hope you get your tatting right.
    Love to Mr G

  2. Love your zentangle. And, yes, you may definitely brag about the mat. It's looking lovely. It's such a pleasant pattern to tat.

  3. Beautiful. Too bad your tatting had to suffer, but I know you will finish it up very well.

  4. WOW WOW WOW! Love the effects in your Zentangle! And that mat is nothin' to sneeze at either! Sorry to hear about having to use those scissors! :(

  5. Ah yes, tatting punishes lack of attention. I hope you have enough thread to finish. Your zentangle is beautiful!

  6. Superb blending for that 3D effect on the stones !!! Brag all you want :-))

  7. The mat is gorgeous, sorry you had to retat. Lovely zen tangle, you can tell it's had your concentration!

  8. Ooh! I feel like Dory, easily distracted by your Zentangle! I'm sorry to read that you've run out of thread for the last round, but I'm sure you'll find something that catches your fancy!

  9. Distractions will do that. I hope you have enough thread to finish.
Marvelous job on the Zentangle! The color shadings and the reflection of 'light' makes it look practically real.

  10. For your support, thank you, Tatters!😊

  11. Your doily is beautiful!!! :) And I can't wait to see the beautiful finished project!! :)
    Wonderful Zentangle picture!!! :)

  12. Beautiful drawing, what a talent you discovered, the stones seems pop up from the screen. Now you'd better "use it safely" (my distraction is the Bosa's lace), lol!!!
