Revelling With Renulek

I was going to change colours on the third round, but I really like this Venus thread. It is soft, but I find it super to work with. So, I am going to use it for the whole thing, if the whole thing is not one of the regular Renulek monster-doilies!  I haven’t tatted a large one in one colour in a while.

If I am going to run out,  I will have to get more creative.

So, Tatters, who sent me this ball of pink? I forget! I thought it was Suneeti, or perhaps Liyarra. Well???

Then there is the progress in the Lucky Clover, which I am also enjoying, as it is being tatted in #80, vintage DMC, from Tally Tatty. Another delightful thread.

This one is almost too large for the scanner.

Receptively Ready For Renulek Row #3

I am loving Serwetka Letnia!

Today Renulek  posted the third round here. : ))

This is teeny, as it is tatted in Venus, which I think is #80. I want to tat a differing colour now, but do not have any idea how large the piece will be, so it is “interesting" to plan.

I wonder how large it will be.

Renulek herself said:
"napkin is not large - perhaps half that spring, but who knows :)”

Congratulations Renulek!

To see Renulek’s accomplishment this week, have a look, here

Jumping on the illustrious bandwagon, I have managed to begin her new napkin.
Such an inspiration.

Thread: Venus #80 or 7#0
Thanks Suneeti - or is it Liyarra?!

I was not supposed to begin this - says me - before
I have done this, which now awaits the third snd last row.

It is getting large, now measuring six inches across.

Good new about the hankie.

I am really happy with the finished piece, but wish I had
picked a different edging, though simple is good on this.

I sewed the picots to the back side to manage a neater frontside, but then the frilly part is lost.

The pattern is upside-down, I think. Perhaps I should have revised it and made the corners on the underside. Oh well. I like it - and I do not admit to that readily!

Thanks, Kristen! It is a lovely hankie. : )

Apoplexy And Advancement

Getting some tatting done - finally. Almost at the third, final row of the Lucky Clover, and one more side to the edging. Not bad for just a few available hours!

I was actually happy to go to the dentist today as the I dislike that visit very much because of the fear of cavities, but it took my mind off Blogger blues!

No cavities and Blogger is behaving.
It is a good day.  : )
