The Edelweiss looks very pretty, too !
I do what Sharon does to increase, if necessary.
And I have one more tip - instead of tatting a true ring (which uses more thread), you can use the leftover thread to tat the stitches on a SCMR, since the core thread gets hidden inside and no one will be the wiser especially if there is some colour mismatch.
I shared both these tips here - https://tipsaroundthehome.blogspot.in/2015/03/collecting-wisdom.htmlmuskaanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13125166115615109271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7637401073707850632.post-70147534843369384882017-08-11T19:56:48.212-04:002017-08-11T19:56:48.212-04:00Smart!!!Smart!!!Foxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12889386206601730189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7637401073707850632.post-21707188565170664632017-08-11T16:55:41.045-04:002017-08-11T16:55:41.045-04:00Not having a handy gadget, I take a shuttle with s...Not having a handy gadget, I take a shuttle with some thread on it and put a slip knot on the thread. I put the slip knot over the end of the short bit of thread that's running out, like a little noose, as close to the end as I can manage. Then I pull the slip knot tight and strangle the short bit of thread. This gives me a slightly longer end of thread to tat with and hopefully gives me enough to finish the project.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10077786348079879289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7637401073707850632.post-11357664730600759672017-08-07T13:17:27.873-04:002017-08-07T13:17:27.873-04:00Well done on finishing it and managing to stretch ...Well done on finishing it and managing to stretch the thread, I did wonder if you woukd have enough when you said you were running out.
It's a very pretty pattern, I started mine yesterday so hopefully I can finish it sometime during the week.
Love to Mr GMargarets designer cardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07649752567816134409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7637401073707850632.post-7166322835712819182017-08-07T13:13:34.676-04:002017-08-07T13:13:34.676-04:00I have a couple of those.
