Skeins and skeins.

I try to keep my same size threads all together..so I can reach in and pull out the size I want quickly since choosing the color is the main challenge. BUT they are all down the stairs and so ‘mysteriously’ a stash has begun in decorative boxes in a low basket under my bed. Have to keep them in boxes or Pippa would make off with the lot. The other day she stole off with a small bead holder (box from DS9) and batted it around for awhile. Ended up under the bed and DH on his tummy fishing it out. I can’t get down on the floor any longer or it’s “Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” time. Very weird to have always been athletic and get stuck on the floor at 74; Frustrating. (sigh)
Enjoy your flexibility folks...LOL
xx bjRidgewomanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13268684588250261751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7637401073707850632.post-26511732536029552322011-03-02T09:20:54.354-05:002011-03-02T09:20:54.354-05:00Can't say that I recognize your latest tatting...Can't say that I recognize your latest tatting project, but it is a fascinating work in progress!

Will you be submitting it as a Palmetto Tat Days logo design? If so, the deadline (as you probably know) is March 16th.

Your dwindling thread stash, has me seriously worried. Also one for "sewing threads" and for blending filaments and unusual bits. Plus a whole drawer cabinet for embroidery threads. I really don't know how I accumulated all this. Really, I don't.Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17127914310809216760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7637401073707850632.post-41377490565315044012011-03-01T22:56:39.534-05:002011-03-01T22:56:39.534-05:00Gorgeous Green Grandstanding......and I have absol...Gorgeous Green Grandstanding......and I have absolutely NO idea what it is, but it's pretty!
My thread stash is a bit larger than that - something to aspire to! However, to my credit, I stopped stashing wool years ago, it requires too much husbanding and takes up too much space. Thread doesn't get eaten by moths. I keep all the tiny balls of DMC 80 in an old-fashioned glass jar - very decorative, but if I use one, I have to immediately replace it.I couldn't bear it to be empty!Maureenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02383223698959645624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7637401073707850632.post-62487858217724757162011-03-01T22:11:28.550-05:002011-03-01T22:11:28.550-05:00Good for you!
