Now At Nine

Yes, eleven inches and moving on to Row 9. However, there have been MANY errors, some due to neither reading the instructions completely nor correctly.

Began Row 8 about five times! I even wrote Renata to ask what I was doing wrong.

Here I am after much grinding of teeth:

Also, I have thought of a perfect person to give this too!
Makes it so much more worthwhile. 😊

Fun With Flu

Flu is not fun. Virus mending is boring. Fatigue is fatal for frivolite. So, it must be simple and small, ergo these four motifs designed by Corina Meyfeldt:

I am meeting up with four calligraphy class pals to celebrate another set of lessons under our belt and. thought a tatted trinket for each might be fun and appropriate!

Think he's interested?

Already Large At Nine Inches

I'm not used to the size #20 thread tats up to! This will be a large one.

I've ordered a second ball, and the postage is more than the cost of the thread!

So, I will go as far as I can, but I will not buy a third ball. Hmmmph.

More Thread?

I am wondering if I need to order another ball... Renata told me I would need only one, but I am only on Row 7 and the thread has diminished quickly. Anybody else using #20 Lizbeth for this pattern?

Curds And Whey

I didn't like the long bulky lilac bookmark, so I tatted another:
Curds and Whey by Mary Konior.

#40 Lizbeth
Better? I think so.

The Brother's Bookmark...

...is finished.

Jon's pattern is an amazing example of her designing abilities.

This was tatted in one go, utilizing split rings. I was very challenged figuring out directions...

I really admire the mind that is capable of writing this pattern.

Tats and Tats

Speedy!

Getting pretty large.

Finished a bookmark as well
Pattern by Jon.

Lizbeth #20 and 2x#80 for ruffles edge

Got carried away...

Forgot to show you something.

Remember a few years ago I had some dots tattooed on my finger for measuring picots, but they disappeared after a few weeks?

I was instructed that hand tattoos do not last; many places will not do them.

Well, a year ago, I had a new one done and it is as good as it was the day I got it!

Voila! No one has apparently seen this little number. It was my idea as for me, I didn't like the band patterns that are so popular.

Blame it on Zentangle...

Mine - For Now!

Finished.

There is thread waiting for me at the post office. I ordered three balls of #40 - at least I think it's #40!

So, I will choose one of the colours and begin the new Renulek pattern. They are always entertaining.

Pour Moi!

I'm thinking of keeping the lilac piece for a bit!

Maeve is getting the big, beaded one, so I'll fondle and admire the lilac one, till I'm ready to once again whittle and wean my little stash of tatted goodies. I'm njoying working on the lilac mat very much.

This one is the about same size and in similar colours to the ones for the boys, so it is a suitable replacement, I think.

Tatted in #80, Lizbeth
(because I admired the one
I saw tatted by Monidido (Elena) on Crafttree.)
