  1. Wow! Fabulous Fox! What an achievement. It looks really beautiful on the back of the chair, the darker colour of the background really showing off the tatting. Well done!

I thought you might pass me and get done first! Although, I do have a bit of an excuse with my mom's death and dealing with all her stuff now. I will get back to it hopefully soon!!

    1. Oh, I think you can be forgiven, Sue! Take it easy and you'll get back to it before you know it - you are almost done.

Take care of yourself. It is a difficult time, I know. 💕

    2. No pic yet, sorry. It's done in Valdani #35 thread - quilting/machine embroidery thread - in a 'raspberry' shade that is one of their overdyed colors. I haven't blocked it yet, but it probably will be around 13-14 inches in diameter once it's blocked.
      Regards to Mr. G.

    1. Maureen, it is so much prettier in person... much lighter. I used almost an entire ball of Finca white and of the ecru Finca roll, I have about 1/8th of the roll left.

  10. Wow, it looks wonderful Fox! It has a lovely antique look sitting on the back of the chair. All of the time you've spent on this project has been well worth it.

  14. I can't believe how many large doilies you have made, and with beads, yet! This is another winner - if you wanted to enter it somewhere! Renata's designs are such beautiful examples of 'classic' tatting.

When I saw Maeve's name I was reminded of your 'Maeve' medallion design, and I don't believe I've ever mentioned that I tatted it years ago, and it sits above my sofa in its own frame in a grouping of other items, so I see it every day and think of you - and Maeve! Can't believe she's 6 already!
