Can It Get More Wrong?

There are two skeins of the turquoise HDT;
neither is a good match!

I didn't realize it till I got to the last two hearts, when I took a break to get the thread to wind in preparation for the final f*%^-ing row!

So, which skein do I use?

  1. The one on the left is my vote but remember I might not be the best resource.

  2. Do you have enough of the variegated to use that one for the final row? Looking at the picture of the heart doily, it almost seems that the final row *could* be smoothing out the heart shapes....rounding them out a bit. You *could* justify using the variegated thread if you think of it as part of the hearts.
    Looks nice, can't wait to see what you decide.

  4. Oh man! Can you use the same thread you are using on the hearts?? Just a thought.

  5. I think I would go with the one on the left. Whatever you choose, I feel confident that you will be pleasantly surprised! After all, how can one go wrong with blue, any shade of blue?

  6. Thanks, Tatters! I wondered if I should go with the variegated....Now, I am conflicted. I'll sleep on it....

  7. Oh no! The one on the left tones better, I think.

  9. Stick with the thread you used on the hearts, it does not take very much thread about two shuttles approx.
