Getting There, Continued

Also, I saw this on Carollyn's blog here, and thought I'd try it:

I do love bare threads, however this would have been a more successful attempt had I used the same size threads.

Happily my stash is very low, but that situation is not very beneficial for "grab and tries!"

  1. Your tatting and color choices are always great and do love the hearts row thanks for explaining the attachment process :)
I do that too use different sizes the next row and so on brings it together more but the 3 shuttle is just fun to know, and if you do no more than this it will be useful someday.

  3. Your doily is lookin' good. I made Mark Meyer's Pumpkin last fall (September 9, 2015 post). It is made up almost entirely of half closed rings. It doesn't seem that hard but getting them correct isn't as easy as it would seem. It is a bit of a challenge. Have fun with it.

  4. Making progress on the hearts round. You are well over the halfway mark. I'm determined to work on the Benporath Mystery Cake Doyley tonight, but I'm longing to play with Carollyn's mat instructions. I know it's going to be fun.
