It's About Time

So, for how many months of the last year did I flirt with frustrated concerning the Land of Laces pattern?

Well, it took till the closing hours of 2015 for me to get the hang of that first round! Now, I'm not so sure where the problem originated, but whatever, the piece is well on its way to completion, tatted with Lea's #50 HDT.

Someone is not quite as as impressed. Snore on.

  1. Yay! I'm glad you figured it out! I know I started it, and it's some place really safe. Maybe I'll find it as I plow my way through my sewing room! ;-)

  2. Looks good. I have been wrestling with the pattern, also, and decided not to fight dyslexia on this one. After way too many attempts, I finally decided to try reading the diagram 'backwards' and so far, it is working. Hey, what looks backwards to me MIGHT be forwards to everyone else. Sometimes I need more than colored markers, multiple copies of the page, and lots of scribbling on the side. Congratulations on getting past that first round. Yours looks great. Love the 'background' for your doily.

  4. That is a gorgeous pattern, I'm so glad you persevered!

Hee hee hee . . . "would NOT move" . . . I know how they can get. Love how you worked around it! ;) My mom's Maine Coon cat, Moose, has her trained . . . he won't eat unless she sits there brushing his really long hair. She does a lot of brushing . . . and he is getting . . . well, . . . let's call it "fluffier" . . . ;)
