Focussed on Flakes

Well, the first is actually a wreath - a brand new great pattern
from Renulek, which you can find here

Then Posy by Mary Konior.
White Thread: DMC Cordonnet Special #60

Then two pretty snowflakes by Robin Perfetti:

The thread is Karey Solomon’s HDT, #40.

For Scale

I am currently test-tatting Winter Frost for Robin.
You are going to LOVE this one!

    1. Thanks, Willow!

I had no green thread so I had to be a bit creative with the beads, to show this lovely shape. It’s a great pattern; Renulek is very talented. : )

  4. Glad you were able to get Ice Dance figured out. I saw Renulek's pattern the other day and was so taken by it I went out and bought some red beads. Now I have to learn how to use beads in tatting :)

  7. What!?!? You have no green thread??? Does that mean you need to add more thread to your stash? (If you're looking for a good holiday green, I love Marilee's "Forest" colorway, if she has any left.)

Actually, I find the look of a wreath tatted in white very elegant and winterish. Yours is just perfect with its light dusting of beads.

    1. Haha! I am successfully diminishing my Lizbeth#80 stash! The green I gave is in use for a Mary Konior hankie edging and though I have a green Karey Solomon skein, it is the only #40 in the box, so I'm using white.

The beads! From YOU a million years ago! : ))

Goodness knows what I'll settle on when I need more thread!
