Managing Without Mail

I am waiting for 2 books...

The instruction will certainly help. Yesterday,  Cathy Z  commented that most instructions say to knot from left to right; I had read only the online Pricilla book which states you knot from right to left. I am way more comfortable left to right, so I was relieved to hear this. Thanks Cathy Z!

I need those books!

Mat Update

Three more motifs to go and then the next row,
which I am eager to begin.
I have plans for it... : )

SOMEONE is definitely NOT amused with my recent behaviour.

You mentioned the Siamese before to me, I think. They are such wonderful creatures. He is my first.

  3. Left to right, right to left... I can see where it could get confusing! I sure hope those books arrive soon!

  4. Looks like you are having fun!

We had a Siamese growing up. One day I went out to get her in the house before we left and she decided to outrun me and run back into the house on her own. Only problem was, she didn't wait for me to open the screen door for her first. She hit it at full run nose first and it knocked her back on her behind. She was soooooooo mad at me she wouldn't have anything to do with me for a week. She would be nice to everyone else, but when I came around she'd run under something to get away. You would have thought I pushed her into the door myself rather than her running into it all on her own! They are quite the characters. She did eventually forgive me . . . ;)

  5. Glad that this didn't keep you far from tatting, the motifs are really nice all together. I'll try it, for sure, but now I'm on another lace too... I'll tell you.

  6. Hey G, what's the problem? Isn't it just more thread to play with?

    1. Bah, humbug. I need much more game playing, not sissy lace stuff. I'm so bored I might pretend one of Her hooky things is a groundhog....

  7. You are making me want to give the Armenian lace a try - if there were only more hours in a day!! I can't get enough done with my tatting as it is. But it does look interesting. The mat is looking good. I do like the shades you are using.

  8. Both your Armenian Lace and tatting are looking great. I look forward to seeing your progress with the Armenian Lace. I hate to point it out, but don't you need 5 more motifs to finish that round?

Poor Mr. G. Hang in there buddy! You'll figure something out.

    1. Yes, Jeff! You are observant. I have tatted two motifs, just not attached them yet, so I eagerly say three more to go! : ))
